PC Character Building:
Character creation is done as follows:
1.) Roll 4d6 for and take the best 3 dice for each stat. The minimum ("House Minimum") for a state is 6. Meaning that if the highest 3 dice rolled is less than a 6, that stat becomes a 6.
2.) If you are unhappy with the rolled characteristics for your character, you can elect to build your character using the creation rules in the Players Handbook. Points for purchasing your stats is 30 points instead of normal 27. For build characters your Minimum purchased stat is an 8 and your highest is a 15. Once character statistics are determined the normal character development procedure is followed.
House Rule Changes:
* If you are "non" Proficient with skill, the difficulty category (DC) will generally be assigned by the GM as 1 DC rank higher. The GM, with input from the players, will determine what skill will be used... And the GM will set the DC level. If the the player is "Norn-Proficient” with the skill The rank becomes 1 higher. By way of example if the GM sets the DC as 5 or 10 and the charater is not proficient, the DC level becomes 10 or 15 respectively.
* The Ranger Class automatically gets the Survival Skill as part of their class benefits.
* Ranger is granted expertise in one of his Ranger class-oriented skills starting at 1st.
* Player Characters begin 1st level of play with 1 Feat
