We decided to deliver the head to the mummy in hopes of getting the pass key to the saw traps.  That way, we could finish off that level.  Just being in his presence caused everyone to...

Brian healed us up at our cabin.  Since no one had any pressing business and Xeelie was not there to do any crafting projects, we decided to go back to the Gauntlight.  However, when we...

We started with no Brisco or Xeelie.  The door opened into a viewing hallway with more of that clear stone between us and the operating area, 5 feet below.  Brian put us into encounter...

We started with a Battle of the Bands in the tavern that had no business exiting down here.  I.e. a skill challenge.  Oakwood used acrobatics, rolled a 7 for an 18 and lost.  Brisco...

Once we got going, we entered the dungeon via the Pirate’s Hideout entrance we had dug out last time.  We were stopped at the door by 3 bounty hunters.  They were looking for the...

Credence tumbled through Oakwood’s square making him flat-footed and hit him for 35.   Plus, bleed damage but he already had double bleed damage from the crit last round so this one...

We leveled up to 6th.  On to the game.  The town elders show up with some guards.  They wanted to assess our power level to decide if the town guards would be able to help in the...

It was a night of dead ends and unbeatable foes. Xeelie snapped into existence and was forced to make a save from the Shrinking Trap we had passed through last time. She critically failed and she...

The Lost

Characters from games that have no other records.  Games that may have run for years... yet not that much is known.  Here lie the remnants of campaigns that were once great and are now forgotten.

Justice and Proteus.  One was a shape-changing tank and the other an energy sword-wielding crusader.  We went through a phase where the math was king.  We're over that now. Philippe was a truly luckless adventurer.  He chose the road less traveled and is most remembered for having cannonballs fall on his head and getting shot 5 times in one action.  It's really best forgotten. Murrmur was actually named after my MMRPG character.  The only thing he had in common was a bit of magic and being a dark elf.  This was the last game we ever played under the D&D 3.5 rules.

After my own GM run we played with Arnie.  The games were filled with danger and adventure.  And lots of laughter.  Anie isn't with us anymore, and the details of the games fade, but I remember... lots of laughter.

This game was run by Aaron.  It didn't last long but it was a good time while it did. This was Nohl's character from a very short run.  I think it was a mercenary.  Why?  It was always a mercenary.

Empty character sheets with traced on super-heroes.  This must have been almost 40 years ago.  Perhaps my dad still wonders why his copiers used so much darn ink! Filled in character sheets for mainstream heroes.  There was a phase in my life where I was deeply concerned in how my favorite heroes could be created in the Champions systems. This was a character that never actually made it into a game.  Still, the neo-human was a neat race.  Not as cool as a dragon... but what is?

For years I tried to get people to play in a Palladium Fantasy Game.  In the second year of college I finally found some victims to test my skills on. These were some of the NPCs from my first college game.  My favorite was Lisa, from a Palladium made module.  She was a good vampire before they retconned into an evil race. My favorite character.  A Chang Ku dragon hatchling, mind mage/Shifter with several superpowers.  It made sense at the time.  I regret nothing.
